What they built

SEObot automates the grind of SEO content. You connect it to your site, and it researches keywords, writes articles, links them together and publishes on a schedule, aiming to grow organic traffic without a human writing every post. The buyer is a founder who knows SEO works but has no time to run it. John Rush built SEObot as one product in a wider portfolio he operates under his MarsX umbrella, reusing shared infrastructure across each launch.

How they did it

John's edge is volume and speed. He launches many products, kills what does not work, and pours attention into what does. He builds in public and posts monthly founder reports with hard numbers, which doubles as marketing: the audience that watches the reports becomes the customer base for the next tool. SEObot itself is dogfooded, using its own content engine to rank for the terms its buyers search.

The numbers

John self-reports SEObot at roughly $120K a month. In an earlier founder report he claimed about $250K MRR across the whole portfolio, with Unicorn Platform the biggest single line and SEObot doubling (source). Latka lists MarsX near $3.5M ARR (source). Read these as founder-reported, portfolio-level figures rather than an audited SEObot number.

What to take from it: a portfolio approach spreads risk and compounds infrastructure. Each new product ships faster than the last because the plumbing, the audience and the playbook already exist.
